SignUpGenius

1. You will receive an invite for the next month by email from AnnAtcheson@gmail.com. Board Members will receive the invite two days prior to the general membership. Invites will go out on Tuesdays (Board & Committee Members) and Thursdays (General Membership) approximately two weeks before the tee times for the next month. The invites will go out at noon.

2. Click on each of the links in the email for the Mondays you wish to play.

3. Click on the Sign Up button,

4. The next page will have our tee time date, instructions and a chart with the tee times available.

5. Select an open slot. Max is four players per tee time.

6. Click on the Sign Up button in the desired slot.

7. Click on Submit and Sign Up at the bottom of the page.

8. This brings you to the next page where you will enter your name and email address.

9. If you are signing yourself up only, then click on Sign Up now button.

10. You are allowed to sign up one extra member. Board and Committee Members may only sign another Board or Committee Member during the early sign up period. Enter the member’s name in the My Comment box and Change the Quantity to 2. This is very important!! Failure to do so will have the sign up sheet only counting one player instead of two, which can lead to five players in a tee time slot. This is a problem for the starter who will then need to regroup you when you get to the course.

11. Finish by clicking on Sign Up Now.

12. SignUpGenius is programmed to send out tee time reminders two days ahead of schedule. However, player names on the comment lines are not included in the automated email, so their tee times are confirmed but they will not receive the two-day reminder.

13. If you need to change your tee time or adjust who is playing with you, there is a pencil icon on the sign up. Click on that to edit. If you need to delete yourself but have another player on your comment line, the system will delete the whole sign up. You will need to ask that player to add themselves back or contact the SignUpGenius chair to adjust it for you.

14. If you have last minute changes to your schedule on Sunday night or Monday morning, you will need to contact the clubhouse directly to cancel your tee time. Please do not be a no-show! The number is (703)323-1641.

15. The best way to contact me is my personal email: AnnAtcheson@gmail.com. If you email me directly from the SignUpGenius site, it will send it to BurkeLakeLadiesLeague@gmail.com. This email is monitored periodically, but not checked as often as my personal email, so my response may take longer that way.
