Dear Burke Lake Women’s Golf Club members,

The June 9, 2025 Rally for a Cause Tournament was a great success with lots of fun and prizes, and NO RAIN.   Due to the generosity of our golfers, the big winner of the day was ECHO (Ecumenical Community Helping Others).  Forty-five members participated in golf.  We donated $2,080 and carloads/a large amount of canned goods and pantry items; and toiletries, personal items, school supplies, diapers, towels; and many other household items.  ECHO was exceptionally pleased and very grateful. (See their letter posted on the bulletin board and our website.)

Hats off and a special thanks to Tim Woodruff and his Burke Lake Golf Course staff for setting up and taking down the special contest holes, providing help & ice, and donating prizes.  They were very supportive!

Closest to the Pin hole #3 Patricia Hoffman (5’9”) Prize - One Foursome 18 holes at Twin Lakes with cart

Longest Drive hole #7 Kathleen Lieb Prize - 18-hole round for 2 at Burke Lake

Longest Drive hole #12 Barb Pirro Prize - 18-hole round for 2 at Burke Lake

One Club Only hole #13      Susan Lee (4/1) Prize -   $50 gift certificate for Burke Lake Pro Shop (anonymous donor)

Fewest Putts Page Morton (15) Prize - 18-hole round for 4 with 2 carts at Greendale                      

Congratulations to all of the winners! Pick up your prizes at the club house on June 16 (rain date 6/23).  And a HUGE round of applause to all of you for your participation and generous contributions for the 2025 ECHO Rally for a Cause golf event.
